Hybrid Frame

All GreyFrame systems and components are selected to deliver solutions that are durable with significantly longer life spans, lower maintenance requirements and are flexible and adaptable. GreyFrame has developed its range of complimentary MMC systems and components to be dynamic and suitable for:

  • Residential Housing
  • Residential Apartments
  • Hotels
  • Retirement & Care Homes
  • Student Accommodation
  • Sports Halls & Churches

Hybrid combinations

GreyFrame systems have been developed to work in combination with other MMC solutions from single components to complex integrated systems.

Single components range permanent formwork party walls to external cladding solutions.

Multi component solutions combine permanent formwork lift cores and walls, stairs and landing LGS formwork systems and floors to create open span structural shells ready for other traditional or closed panel partitioning.

High performance

Taking a fabric first approach to design and installation, creating a structural shell with low U-values, reliable airtightness and no thermal bridging is our priority.

Permanent Formwork systems have several advantages in achieving airtightness. The ready core creates a monolithic shell, a continuous structure with no gaps, no taping up of joins in panels etc. As the materials are structural robust there is no issue with building envelope being punctured during construction or by follow on trades.

High levels of Thermal performance are achieved through Vision-Builts Closed Panel external walls. Wall U-Values can be specified from 0.20 to as low as 0.10 W/m2K, suitable for Passive House Standards.

The GreyFrame systems have been developed to meet and surpass building regulations, now and in the future. This gives you the confidence that introducing our systems into your build process has a long-term benefit, and consistency; with specification, easily adaptable to meet your statutory requirements or passive house standard with little change to process and details.

Thermal Mass

Through the density and controlled exposure of concrete components, the thermal variances within a building can be minimised as the materials work as a heat store; slowly absorbing warmth as it heats up and releasing heat back out as the day cools.
